The Audubon Everglades Photography Group (AEPG) meetings are on the SECOND Thursday of each month. Calendar entries are updated to reflect the upcoming events. Any subsequent changes will be posted on this calendar and announced to members by email. As programs are held and recorded, videos are linked to the calendar program date in case members missed the meeting or want to review in more detail.
This section contains the list of all scheduled AEPG events: programs, critique sessions, field trips, workshops, and photo shares.
Unless indicated otherwise, all programs, critique sessions, workshops, and photo share sessions will be held remotely using ZOOM. Members may log onto the ZOOM session from 6:45pm through 7:00pm for “social time” before the program begins. Field trips will be held when opportunities are identified.

Guest Photographer: Alan Chin Lee and Jay Richard
Alan Chin Lee: a lepidopterist by education and affinity, has pursued butterflies his whole life, as both a scientist and photographer. He has been instrumental in developing butterfly exhibits at Butterfly World and the Florida Museum of Natural History. His photographs capture visitor's attention, engaging them in the subject and inviting them to delve deeper into the exhibit. Alan has also assisted Award-winning photographer, Rick Sammon, in finding and showcasing select butterfly species for his publication, "Flying Flowers." Alan’s passion for photography has been recognized in many publications such as the Kaufman Focus Guides – Butterflies of North America, A Guide to North America’s Bees – The Bees in Your Back Yard, and numerous travel magazines, Scientific Publications and calendars
Jay Richard: In the 1960’s Jay started photographing the nature and wildlife he grew up appreciating. Beginning with film cameras and dark rooms, to point & shoot, then digital cameras and computerized post processing, he was able to document his love of nature through his photography. When he retired after a 45year career as a senior technology executive, it allowed him to focus more of his time on photography. JayHawk Photography was formed in 2013 after multiple request for nature photos, programs, along with photographic excursions for all levels of photographers as well as people who simply enjoy viewing nature in New England and South East Florida. The excursions are limited to 3 or less people, and focus on expanding individual’s wildlife skills on how, when, and where to find wildlife in their natural habitat, offering the opportunity to capture the moment photographically or in one’s mind.
